Jalisco Restaurant Coachella

Love this local spot! I'm always excited to come here, and whenever I'm craving authentic Mexican food, I know exactly where to go. The tacos are amazing--definitely a must-try!

Stumbled into Jalisco Restaurant today while driving around the East Valley checking out Desert X. It looked authentic and in fact it was. The tables looked just like you might see in a taqueria in Mexicali. The grill was steaming away, and there were quite a few tables with happily chatting people, so we knew the food had promise. And we were hungry for a tasty lunch. Our waitress was terrific - she was more than willing to customize the dishes we ordered, my wife choosing the carne asada tostada, and flour tortilla tacos (one each carne asada and al pastor) for me. My tacos, without onions but with lettuce, tomato and cheese, were simply delicious. My wife said the same for her tostada. In a valley with literally hundreds of Mexican eating spots to choose from, we will definitely return to Jalisco Restaurant to try breakfast next time around.

I was looking for some Mexican food in Coachella and found Jalisco, and it was a good experience! From the moment I walked in, I noticed how much people were there! So i assumed it was going to be great! The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was really good. And met our expectations. Definitely recommend!

Authentic Mexican food and ambience. The Chicken Tostada and Chorizo Tostada were so delicious my husband and I could have another second! Our waitress was very nice and engaging. Definitely we'll come back and make sure we have more time to savor more of their food!

My wife and I decided to stop here for lunch while viewing the murals and other artwork in downtown Coachella and we're glad we did! She ordered the chorizo torta and I ordered the chicken torta. Both were very filling and delicious! The bread, the meat, the lettuce --- it was all fresh and freshly prepared. I always love visiting Mexico because of the great food and this was the kind of authentic Mexican food you get as if you were dining in Mexico City. The restaurant also serves delicious chips and salsa. The waitress was warm and friendly. The ambience was relaxing and chilled --- everyone seemed to be enjoying their great meals.

I usually do carry out but this time around I dined in. It was very packed with customers but we still got a booth. The food was out quick. This place will always be delicious to me.
